The Universe is kind, benevolent and always giving; and you are the person who determines what the Universe is to give to you. Not because of the things you say and ask for, but through the feelings you feel.

In the past two weeks, you have learned to be grateful for all the good things you have, and to feel empowered, confident and with a sense of self-worth because of all the things you’ve discovered you can do, and do well. So let’s push the boundaries a little.

Now is the time to become really brave, and start being grateful for your challenges, your problems, your issues: they are also energy, and Energy is another name for Divinity. They are only “bad” if you say they are bad. If you decide they are only there to remind you of your connection with Divinity, that they are an opportunity for you to express that divinity as more patience, kindness, joy or harmony – they immediately become more bearable. And if you decide they are an opportunity to move your life in a different direction, do something different – they can become the best thing that has ever happened to you.

Do you feel not appreciated in your job, or have an issue with your boss? Instead of feeling sadness, anger or resentment, could you find a different meaning for the behaviors you notice? They might have nothing to do with you, they might be an indication of the challenges those people have in their own lives, of which you know nothing. If you have any problem, take the stand that it is here only for your highest good, to make you more allowing, more loving, more understanding, wiser. So be open for any problem to show you where you could become more like your Spirit – because of it! To become more tolerant or patient, stronger, more compassionate, peaceful or forbearing.

That will not be easy, but I am sure you will find ways to make even your challenges stepping-stones to a more allowing, appreciative and easy-going life.
