We have been told over and over again that we are far more than we know, and yet we don’t really feel that we are anymore than this human personality experiencing life with our 5 senses that so often tell us we are not good enough, inadequate, a failure, and whatever else is floating in our 3D field at this time from the collective consciousness, usually not very uplifting beliefs!
But we do have a whole team of Guides and Angels watching over us, helping us make the best choices for our evolution, that may sometimes not feel very good, but that will assist in understanding how things really work. Because spiritual evolution is more important, in the long run than the comfort and convenience of the physical being, which is temporary, appearing for a few short years and then disappears, will be no more.
What remains forever, always was, and always will be is the non-physical being, One with the Creator, that only has one sense which encompasses all of our 5 senses without any differentiation, and so does not have access to the several enjoyments you have of seeing beauty, hearing harmonious sounds, touching a soft velvety material, smelling the scent of a rose or eating delicious chocolate or a spoonful of ice-cream!
Your Guides and Angels, not incarnated, have access to non-local energy and information, and to experiencing many other dimensional realities that most of us do not yet have, and love to support us while we are exploring mastering all the aspects of this 3D reality, to which we have come from other lifetimes where we have been pursuing the same higher-dimensional consciousness we are pursuing now, in this realm.
We have chosen, and volunteered to incarnate on Earth, also been selected by Source from among many others who also volunteered, as the beings who could best help humanity evolve to their highest potential by becoming a part of humanity. But we would have to forget our lineage in an ancient star civilization where we had reached enlightenment, and slowly, as we evolved here, to bring the remembrance of what it feels like to be One with Source, an enlightened being, to this reality.
So the process now is not only remembering, and stepping into a new reality as a human being, but also shedding all the old human ways of thinking, being, and doing; fully coming back into who we really are, Divine Consciousness individualized. In other words, shifting our identification from our body and personality into identification with our Spiritual Self.
