Because we are not a physical body, but a Spirit clothed in that body, physical things will never be completely satisfying. We have been getting material things for years and however much we loved having them at first, soon it has proved not enough, and we want something else, something more, something better. Like wanting a toy truck when you were three, then a bicycle when you were 7, then a real car at 18, then a Ferrari when you were 26, and a boat or a plane when 30 or so!
We can, of course stay in purely material perceptions, and keep wanting a bigger house, a better job, a better partner, and getting them – but the satisfaction doesn’t last long; and we still find something’s lacking, something’s missing. So we keep searching, and that’s okay; Spirit has given you free will to choose whatever you want and always honors your choice. Life will keep happening, and your experiences will indicate whether you have made a choice that’s more, or less aligned with what your Spirit is.
There are spiritual laws as well as material laws operating in our 3D reality and if we align with spiritual laws first and foremost – that’s where what we call a miracle can happen. When the material law of a terminal disease is diagnosed and experienced in the body and then, through the person’s belief in the wholeness and health and perfection of the Divinity that they really are, the disease disappears without a trace.
So we can live just in accordance with material laws, but when we don’t like the results, we realize that some change is needed, and set about making that change in our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and/or actions.
We go back to the truth of who we are, and notice the positive changes in the results we are having. First, mental and emotional, before they can out-picture in the physical. We become grateful for even the smallest improvement, and that raises our vibration, encourages us to make more changes, attracting to us even more positive outcomes.
This puts us on an ascending spiral of more and more good things appearing, instead of the previous descending spiral of unwanted things happening.
Remember, the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things, and expecting a different outcome. If we’re not totally insane, we have to change something in our ways of thinking, being and doing, because we have very little control, if any, over what others are doing.
But if you’ve seen that living a purely material life is not working for you, that you’re not really happy, that something is always missing, then search for that happiness beyond what you have known so far. What lies beyond is your Spirit, that has been animating your mind and body since birth, but you’ve not been using the power it is, for lack of awareness that it’s there, just waiting for you to consciously activate its health, it’s love, it’s abundance.
You have to choose to align with your soul, the spiritual part of you, and its qualities of joy, harmony, peace, and prosperity. You are the only one who can make that choice, regardless of the conditions you are facing materially.
