The Universe is so set up that it reflects back to you the essence of what you are feeling in any given moment – not necessarily the same circumstances. So if you are feeling fearful of the future, it will reflect back your fear in the current circumstances that are now yours. If you are feeling sad, resentful or joyful – those will be reflected back. Your vibration is a demand to experience something similar to what you are putting forth.

As we recognize that when we are afraid, we are projecting that fear into our future and it’s just a habit we have formed through fearful things being presented to us in life. Most of them don’t actually happen to us – but we still live in perpetual fear of them – then we can set about changing that habit, and start thinking about and searching for things that make us feel excited, joyful and grateful for.

You can actually change your fearful feelings with the vibration deep of gratitude.
Gratitude, in order to be effective in our lives, needs to be felt. Not just the surface gratitude that you feel when you have been given a gift that you appreciate, not the “thank you” that we are taught as children to say when you are given a new toy; that is just the joy of having acquired something you may have wanted for a long time. And it’s thankfulness, a really good thing to feel.

But it’s a lesser vibration than the deep gratitude you can feel toward someone who has not given you anything material, but has just shown you how much they loved you with just a hug that had some special quality about it, or a phone call for no reason, or even searched for a birthday gift that you didn’t even like! But the thought of them -who had such difficulty with going out at all – the thought of them going to all the trouble to find you a suitable gift when you had never paid much attention to them, caused such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and love for them you had never felt, even with gifts that were exactly what you wanted.

It’s not enough to think how grateful you are, the deeper you take the feeling, the less fear you will feel about anything that comes to your attention, or that you are told to fear. The gratitude for life, for having two hands and two feet, for what you have now, even if it seems to be little, is always more than what some others have, and when it’s hard to feel joy, you can always find many things to be grateful for, and that will bring many more things to be grateful for into your life.
