Love is a word that we use all the time, and in very many situations, but real love, which means Universal or Unconditional love, is an energy, not a feeling. And we are being called now to make that distinction. To look at the highest aspects of Love, not the lower ones, which can be assimilated with the words: like, enjoy, approve of, be pleased with.
There are so many things now that we don’t like, don’t approve of, oppose, and even fear. And we fail to see that at their core, underlying all the aspects we reject, their true nature is Love. Because they were created from Light, Life, Love, which are all synonymous.
We often hear things like: I love playing football! I love ice-cream! That’s not the divine energy of Love, which is the first, original expression of God, or Spirit. The nature of Spirit is Love, and the true nature of every creation is also that Love.
It’s a creative, healing energy and it’s very powerful, but it’s not always comfortable! Receiving a healing can feel good, but it can also be like hurricane, destructive to anything that is not aligned with love.
That’s the reason for what we call a healing crisis, which can feel like things are getting worse, before they can get better.
And this is precisely what’s happening in the world now, with the many things that don’t align with the Law of Universal or Unconditional Love, that are now coming to the surface so they can be cleaned, both energetically and physically. They are not new, they have been here for thousands of years, but hidden and out of sight of most of humanity.
Now that we see, and don’t like it, we are calling for things to change. Love is the greatest healing power in the Universe, and we must realize that we don’t have to like something in order to love it. We can dislike a political system, but still love the people in it. We can dislike corporations that are all about money, but still love them; we can dislike our child becoming an alcoholic, but still love them.
Everything and everyone is just an aspect of the One Creative Source, the One Love, and if we can truly love ourselves, as an aspect of Divinity, with all our shortcomings and weaknesses, that will allow us to love everyone else also, even when taking steps to counteract their abusive or criminal activities.
Even loving the virus, which doesn’t mean you like what’s happening; but your Love is big enough to recognize that it has been a catalyst for much that is good to also happen. And when that catalyst is no longer needed to force us to act in alignment with the Law of Love, it will just be transformed and transmuted back into the Light that it always was.
